Since today it's possible to edit your own Reserved Slots List entry.
Being logged in on the BMP, your own entry on the RSL should look bold and with an edit icon like this:

This panel is available on the Dashboard.
Clicking the edit icon, will take you to your profile page from where you can change your own ingame nickname.

As soon as you click the Update button, the changes will be applied to the Battlefield server(s).
